REFERENCE AND INFORMATION

This service consists of personal assistance provided to users in pursuit of information.

  1. The student approaches the librarian/student assistant for information.
  2. The Librarian/Library Staff will interview the student to determine what specific information/sources are needed.
  3. The student was taught how to locate/find sources using different library tools such as Card Catalog, in-house OPAC, vertical file, etc.
  4. The student is advised to use other reading materials that may supplement the information/sources needed not only what teachers used;
  5. The student is advised personally visit the said agencies if the information is available.
  6. The student was advised to come back if the information is not immediately located.
  7. Inquiries are made by the librarian to the different government agencies/offices, libraries, etc. for publications related to the research needs of the students.
  8. Respond to queries/inquiries/questions of the students and faculties through online use of social media (FB messenger) and Email (Google Mail)
